Bookish Bliss, Musings & More A Quarterly Link Up | October 31st Through December 5th

Fall into a Good Book

Hello, bookworms and friends!

As the crisp autumn air descends and the world transforms into a breathtaking palette of warm colors, there’s no better time to curl up with a good book. Join Crystal from Sharing Lifes Moments and I for our latest edition of the Bookish Bliss, Musings & More Quarterly Link Up, perfectly timed for the season!

Let’s celebrate the joy of reading together, sharing our thoughts, recommendations, and bookish adventures. Whether you’re a seasoned reader or just starting your literary journey, there’s a place for you in our cozy, bookish corner.

I made some honey bread and peanut butter cookies recently for my sweet treat recently. Though I’m not an avid baker, I do indulge in some baking during the holiday season. I’ve been enjoying hot tea in the evenings, with cream and sugar or honey. I’m not a fan of pumpkin spice anything, I know many of you love pumpkin spice as your warm seasonal drink. What are your favorite chilly weather warm drinks?

  1. I like pumpkin in pies, cakes, cookies, etc.–but not in drinks. My only hot drink is instant decaf coffee with Coffeemate. 🙂 But it hits the spot.

I don’t bake much, either, with just the two of us. My husband is trying to cut carbs and sweets, and I should be. 🙂 But I love baking for events at church or when the kids come over and I can send some home with them. I’m making caramel corn this afternoon for our pumpkin decorating tonight.

  2. I’m a hot chocolate girl! My go-to is homemade hot cocoa because of the health benefits of unprocessed cocoa and because I can make it sugar-free. I’ve included a link to the recipe in the book review I shared at #16! 🙂 All things being equal, I’d love to be able to drink European hot chocolate twice a day, which is basically a Lindt bar (or something similar) melted in whole milk. Wowza. 🙂 I’ve shared 15, 16, and 17 this time and am off now to see what others have shared and leave some comment love. Thanks so much for hosting, Paula!
